Work It
This week I found out about my great grandpa's passing. I didn't know much about him but it definitely puts life into perspective. Looking at the rest of my family history I have noticed that there is a pattern of obesity, diabetes, and many other health problems. Realizing this I really felt like it was time to start taking care of my body.
A lot of people work out because they want to look good or have their summer body ready. Even though those might be valid reasons, I want to start working out to ensure that I take car of the body God gave me. It is so important to give you heart and lungs the work out they to help sustain a good life style.
With this I am setting a goal to work out at least three times a week. I am also setting the goal of taking the stairs whenever I can on campus instead of taking the elevator. When we do the small and simple things to start with we will be able to hurdle bigger challenges.
